BIOGRAPHY: John was drafted into the Revolutionary War on 26 Jul 1777, along with his brothers, Ezekiel and Benjamin Creech, Jr. He was shown on the Dobbs County, NC, tax list in 1769 and again in 1780. It is not certain when he died, but it must have been in the mid 1780's since his name does not appear on the next tax list.
