BIOGRAPHY: Sherman grew up in Seaman, Ohio and Blue Creek, Ohio. At a very
young age maybe 3 or 4 the Family moved to ohio from Kentuckey. His mom Margarett
(Maggie) died when he was just 5 years old. Her youngest child was "Herbert"
who was just 8 months old when she died. After his mom had died they moved from
Blue Creek to Seaman and rented farms for a while. They eventually bought a
farm on Rt. 2 in Seaman now known as the Creech Road where he lived. Sherman's
first job was working in Dayton for his brother doing installation. He was around
14 years old at the time. Since he was the littlest they had him crawl into
the attics to blow in the installation.
After marrying Billie he moved the with her to Sandusky, Ohio and then back
to Seaman. They moved numberous times from there as well. His last residence
was in Frazeysburg, Ohio. He always liked to give nicknames to his grand kids.
He was also known for keeping an impeccable yard and always had the nicest flowers
and vegetables gardens. He also liked to lift weights and keep himself in good
condition.
